    Hi all,

I have been using YASR for about a month with no issues. Last night went to add another post to my website and give it a star rating, but the YASR option, under settings in the post editor has vanished, so I cannot give the product a star rating.

If I look at the post preview the star template is there. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, but it is the same. I have 2 websites that this has happened to. I noticed the plugin has been updated recently, so not sure if it was that or I installed the Elementor page builder plugin yesterday afternoon.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Just did a rollback of the plugin 1.8.5 and it is back. So am I doing something wrong with the update? Sorry if I have missed something.

Hi, do you mean the box in the top right?
which version of WordPress are you using?

Hi mate, yeah the settings menu when you are editing a post. You have Document and Block as headings and have permalink, categories, tags, as options. The plugin is normally in there.

    Wordpress version is 5.0.3.

Here you go. I have put in screenshot for version 1.8.5 and 1.8.6. As soon as I upgrade, it disappears.

Ah, seems like you’re using gutenberg (the new editor)

In this case, click on the “+” to add a block and select “Yasr Overall Rating”

In the next version, all shortcodes should work like that in gutenerg ??

    Grazie ancora

This is the only way, otherwise you’ve to switch to the classic editor
