  • Really sorry to hear about this. ?? Are there no displays of YARPP at all, including “no related posts”, or is it saying “no related posts” all the time?

    Thank you for your message.

The words “No Related Posts” shows up some times. Some times the pages display the “Related Posts” and the appropriate pages are listed.

The posts some times display an unrelated “Related Post:” of the support page or some other page, but no posts show related.

I have all the categories checked in the pool and all things are set to consider. I even lowered the threshold to two thinking it might pick up posts then.

Today the cache is at 95.83%, but next time I look it might be zero or some other random number. Also, if you make any changes, as I just did, the cache deletes itself. If you click “Build Cache” it always responds with “Cached 0%” and “Try Again”. But, if you refresh the browser, it tells you how much is really cached, which is now at 90%.

If you change relatedness settings, the cache will necessarily have to clear. That’s expected.

I would even try lowering the match threshold to 0 or 1, just to make sure that you can get *some* results.

Thank you for looking at this. I tried setting the threshold to “1” and to “0” with the same results. Even at threshold set to “1” or “0” it only finds pages (not posts) to “relate”. It does not find any posts at all.

What can I change to get it to consider posts as well as pages?

Oh, I should note that the “display options” have the appropriate boxes checked for “pages and posts”. I tried unchecking the boxes for pages and media to only give it the option for the posts, but that did not work. It still shows pages instead of posts.

My guess then is that your pages are actually legitimately coming out as more relevant always than your posts, though I don’t know why that would be. Either try turning off “Display results from all post types” option, or try adding some more tags in common between your posts so that they show up.
