YARP breaks SSL

  • Hi-

    YARP breaks SSL. I recently moved the site to https. I receive the following error message “api.engage.bidsystem.com SSL verification issue (Possibly mis-matched URL or bad intermediate cert.). Details:
    ERROR: no certificate subject alternative name matches”.

    I rechecked my YARP css file and I have the following “background: url(//api.engage.bidsystem.com/adk_mini_logo.png) no-repeat;”. I assume that it is correct because there is no http.

    If I deactivate YARP, this error disappears. How can I keep this plugin active and make SSL work?

  • try targeting the class in your child theme stylesheet and do display:none;

    See if this code works, just stick it in your stylesheet.

    .yarpp-related .yarpp-promote {display:none;}
