YahooMail Spam message showing wordpress theme location

    I have noticed that sometimes when my friends’ Yahoomail account get hacked, it sends out spam emails. Sometimes this spam email simply contain the theme url of a website using wordpress. The most recent I got is

    https://think-of.us/wp-content/themes/wedding-bells/google.html .

    What could be the reason for this Vulnerabilities and how can it be avoided, the webmaster may not be aware that this is happening.

  • Contact that site’s webmaster. It could well be that the site has been hacked.

    Check this news for yahoo hack recently and wordpress plugin vulnerability being a target here.

    Don’t expect a public & popular email service is always 100% safe as they are always the primary target for a hack. If you want to be safe than sorry is to use hushmail.
