• It seems that after activating the firewall the subject file is blocked in .htaaccsess preventing access to the website from the WordPress app and that’s okay. However, deactivation the plugin doesn’t remove the block which is problematic for troubleshooting purposes. Are there plans to fix this?

    You can remove the XMLRPC block on the same page that you added it, the Anti-Malware Firewall Settings page. Although, you make a good point here. I will add a feature to the next release that will automatically remove that code from your .htaccess file if you disable the plugin.
