XMLRPC Not working on IOS App

  • When I visit:
    https://mrscience101.com/xmlrpc.php

    I get the expected response:
    XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

    When I try ‘mrscience101.com’ in the ios app I get the error:
    “Couldn’t connect. Required XML-RPC methods are missing on the server.”

    I have WordPress 5.5.3 installed on my server downstairs. I have port 80 and 443 forwarded to it.

    Does anyone know what the apache or wordpress or port forwarding configuration updates I need to do to allow the IOS app to actually connect to the server?

  • I am also having this issue since upgrading my sites. When I check xmlrpc.php I receive the expected response as well – “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”. I am no longer able to publish via the iOS app. Can someone please assist?
