xml_rpc-32700 error

    Hello,

    I wanted to install Jetpack today on my website https://www.stroom.gent, the installation was succesfull, activation was successfull but when I want to connect Jetpack with WordPress I get this:

    Je Jetpack bevat een fout. Sorry voor het ongemak. Probeer het later opnieuw. Als het probleem aanhoudt, kun je contact opnemen met ondersteuning onder vermelding van dit bericht: xml_rpc-32700
    Probeer nog eens te verbinden.
    Fout Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure https://stroom.gent/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML?RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

    (basically it says in Dutch there is an error).

    I’ve had this for a couple of days now. I hoped the 4.5 update would fix this issue but it didn’t.
    Could anyone help me please?

    I had a look at your site, and you seem to be using a maintenance plugin or theme to restrict access to your site:
    https://i.wpne.ws/fjHg

    That plugin also restricts access to the XML-RPC file, which Jetpack uses to communicate with WordPress.com.

    I would consequently recommend that you give Jetpack another try, once your site is live.
