XML Sitemap with protected entries in Custom Post Type

    Hello,
    I have a custom post type named ‘Portfolio’ all the entries inside it are password protected as I want only my clients to view the designs after I provide password to them.

    The ‘Portfolio’ CPT link isn’t displayed in main XML sitemap of my site.
    If I remove password from any entry(say ABC) then it is shown in main sitemap also and inside it archive page of ‘Portfolio’ and ABC is shown.

    I want that if not all password protected entries but the archive link for ‘Portfolio’ get displayed in sitemap.

    How can that be done?
