  • I have the same issue

Here is a little note: i switched back to the version 1.3.2 of the Plugin. Now the XML sitemap runs like it did before. I noticed in the developement log that there have been changes to the sitemap methods. Maybe there is an issue with the new WordPress Version? i don’t know.

Switching back to the older Version of the Plugin is not the best choice, but it works.

I hope there will be a bug fix for that problem in the next patch.

I am having the same issue

I’ve also switched back to version 1.3.2 and it is working now

I am having the same issue. Redirect loop. I see the original poster is using Apache. I am using Nginx (with the rewrite rules).

Just so their is an abundance of information, I am using WP 3.5 Multisite in a multi-network configuration. On one network I do not use, I deactivated *all* other plugins except WordPress SEO. I am also used the TwentyEleven theme to eliminate all other variables.

I still get the redirect loop. I did not get the redirect loop in any previous version of WordPress SEO. I am going to move back to 3.2

I am not certain how my configuration compares to the others posting here.

errr, that would be switching back to 1.3.2 of the plugin, not WP 3.2

I’m on WP 3.4.2, SEO 1.3.3 still breaks my sitemaps.

Same problem here WP 3.5 SEO 1.3.3. Sitemap broken.

    Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS)

    Same here!

    Same problem
Since the last update the sitemap does not work, google does not crawl my pages, I have errors in webmaster tools.
    Please update

I have switched to using a dedicated sitemap plugin for now. Maybe this plugin is a little too “all in one”. You should probably do the same because your site ranking will plummet if Google gets 404 on your sitemaps!

When I’ve seen the problem immediately installed the plugin xml sitemaps

Same problem here WP 3.5 SEO 1.3.3. Sitemap broken.

I have lost indexing in google for all my sites that have installed the plugin wp seo by this problem. It is a serious disaster for me!!!

Hmm it is a bug indeed. Will fix for the next release, apparently some server variables can’t be trusted.

@diosneptuno: what you’re saying is not true. XML Sitemaps help google find your content, removing your content from an XML sitemap or no longer having one will not all of a sudden deindex all your old content.
