XML Sitemap images

  • I’m not sure if this is outside the scope of this plugin but when I view the XML sitemap generated by Yoast it doesn’t show any images for wysiwyg custom fields. The sitemap only shows images from the normal WordPress content field.

    Any ideas on how to resolve this would be helpful. It appears that any ACF Yoast plugin that I’ve tried has the same issues.

    Is there any news on when this issue will be fixed?

    One of our new sites uses the ACF plugin, and although your ACF-Content Analysis for Yoast SEO plug-in fixes the issue of Yoast not seeing the images in an image Field Group, it does not fix the xml Sitelist issue. This is a real problem for us as the site’s blog posts are set up to insert imagery into an ACF image field group.

    I’ve scanned Yoast and ACF support posts and there seems to be uncertainty as to where the blame lies for this one.

    Can you help?
