XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.1.2 – URL paths don’t match

    Hi
    I generate my sitemaps using XML Sitemap Generator and I recently have got this message from Google webmaster tools results
    Paths do not match
    ‘We have detected that you submitted your Sitemap using a URL path that includes the www prefix (for instance, https://www.example.com/sitemap.xml). However, the URLs listed inside your Sitemap do not use the www prefix (for instance, https://example.com/myfile.htm)’
    I’ve stripped the www by setting https://nickgarnett.com in wordpress general settings, perhaps I should do it another way because it seems to beb reading the www still.
    Any help greatly appreciated for a non-tech person

    I am having the same problem… Please let me know if you find anything out… Also started happening around 5 days ago,,, Was there an update to the xml sitemap plugin?

    ok in settings if you add www to your blog address and wordpress url, it fixes it. I dont know why all of the sudden you need to add that in setttings… Did something change? If anyone knows let me know. Thanks Todd
