XML Sitemap Generator

  • Hello,

    If you have a video sitemap generator as I have, which is integrated
    with my WP Theme (Covert VideoPress 2.0) is it neccessary to have your
    XML sitemap generator plugin as well or can you only have one or the other, would there be a conflict if both are installed?

    If I enter my video sitemap url into Google webmaster tools it does not recognise it as it appears to be looking for the standard xml sitemap url.

  • I have never played with Covert VideoPress but it sounds to me from what u are saying that it is not generating the standard xml sitemap format that Google needs and as such my guess is having XML Sitemap Generator enabled would be fine.

    Can you enable this plugin and peruse the page to ensure all your video pages are included? If so then you may just only need to disable thei video sitemap generator.
