  • First, try resaving your Permalinks settings. Then, can you share a link?

    Yes..I did resave permalinks..
oops…fatal mistake regarding link. its on Pakistan Tribune

Your robots.txt is a static file maybe? It does not seem to be coming from my plugin…

I notice that your main sitemap index works:
    https://www.pakistantribune.com.pk/sitemap.xml
But following for example the pages sitemap, I get redirected to the homepage. Still the raw feed address works fine:
    https://www.pakistantribune.com.pk/?feed=sitemap-posttype-page

Is /%post_id%/%postname%.html your permalink structure rule? I tried that on a test site but there the sitemaps work fine: https://demo.status301.net/sitemap.xml

And is “World News” a post category? In that case, what are the Category and Tag base Permalink rules? If these are default (empty) can you explain why there is no /category/ in the URL https://www.pakistantribune.com.pk/world-news ?

    1. Well…I actually emptied the .htaccess entries from the plugin assuming that I already have the same in htaccess file placed at root folder of my website.

    2. Yes..main sitemap index works but all others redirect to homepage
    3. Permalink structure u mentioned is correct.
    4. I have removed /category/ base from the url structure and everything is running nicely on BWP sitemaps.

This plugin does not modify any .htaccess file…

    4. I have removed /category/ base from the url structure…

    How did you do that?

How do I put thise entries back now..is there any way to reset the plugin
this can be achieved with WP No category base plugin

Deactivating the XML Sitemap Feeds plugin will clear all plugin options.

this can be achieved with WP No category base plugin

Then it might be an incompatibility with this plugin. Could you test by deactivating the WP No category base plugin?
