XML sitemap and RSS errors

  • I get the following error when I try to view my sitemap_index.xml file or my rss feed file:

    This page contains the following errors:

    error on line 4 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document

    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    I get the same error for both files, anybody else had this issue and know of a fix?

  • Hi, I am getting the same error:

    I’m unsure it this is a problem with the plugin or wordpress in general. I’ve tried applying some of the fixes that I’ve found online but nothing has worked.
