XML Sitemap and Deleted Posts/Pages

    Hello Developer(s), hope I am finding you well. Question: If a page or post is deleted, will Slim SEO automatically remove these deleted posts/pages from the sitemap? If not, what would be the remedy?

    I had to walk away for a few minutes before coming to the conclusion that I may have figured it out…If I want to delete a post or page, before doing so, change to no index, thus removing post/page from xml sitemap, then proceed to delete said post and/or page. Kindly confirm or deny my assumption. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Slim SEO queries posts to include in the sitemap, using the default WP query. So if a post is deleted, it won’t be available in the sitemap, unless it’s cached somehow. Can you please check to see if you have any cache layer (plugin or server) that caches the sitemap?
