    Hello,

    I read the following in the FAQ:

    “If you have scheduled future updates be aware that currently, all updates will be pinged at the time of scheduling. This could result in say 30 pings at once. Some operations may frown on this : ( So be aware.

    I don’t understand completely. Does this mean that I should not add the entire (comprehensive) list XML-RPC ping services there, so that my blog is pinged with each update? I do not plan to schedule the pings at a specific time. I just thought that they are pinged as soon as I update my blog with a new post.

    Please clarify and specifically indicate if you advise that I include the comprehenisive list to where pingomatic is now automatically being pinged by default.

  • all you need to use is the service that’s already listed there – it will ping everyone else. adding the full list might result in double pinging which would wind up getting your site blocked or banned.
