• Hello,

i am working with a lot of wordpress installations and automatic aggregation (message spreading) regarding important updates/sticky posts. It worked all well since i updated one WP from 3.1x to 3.2,
i can now post my message via xmlrpc “metaWeblog.newPost” (mw_newPost()) and it will be posted on that wordpress. But i wont get a postID back. cURL will error out with timeout.

My settings for cURL timeout are 30 seconds. I even got problems getting this to work offline on XAMPP. My test post will need about 3-9 seconds. It’s saved after about 3.4534534534E-5 but the respond will take forever.

Did i miss something to fix this?
    Any help appreciated.

    best regards

    I have the same problem.
I’m trying to push a new post from WordPress for Android to my blog, it was working great before 3.2 update and now it fails with a java.net.SocketTimeOut Exception.

    Any idea?

    Thanks!
