XML import “not allowed”

Hi James,
when I try to import/upload an XML file I get an error message saying “This file type is not allowed for security reasons”
A quick research didn’t give a clear answer on why this may happens so I wanted to get your feedback on this.
Is this a known issue or is there a specific setting I need to have in order to import/upload XML files?

I tried out the suggested code from the documentation and was able to upload the XML file and work with it, however I got this error message (thought you might would want to know):
“Config Index File Not Found: /www/htdocs/DATABASE-NAME/MYWEBSITE.NET/wp-content/uploads/importwp/temp-config-1639.json.file_index-”
