XML Import file only importing some posts

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to import all my posts from my old WordPress site to my newly hosted one.

I have exported (via the default export function) all posts for the month of November 2020. We have 110 posts for that month which I have have checked on the site.

When I go to import this file on my new site, only 59 posts are imported. To try and troubleshoot where the error was coming from, I opened the XML file and figured out how to read it, I crossed checked a portion of the Posts in the file with the posts on my original site and it looks like that export worked and it has the 110 posts within it.

I can’t figure out why the import function on my new site won’t grab all the Post s and import them.

I have looked at plugins to import and export XML files but There are a lot and I don’t know which one to try. I read an article about breaking up the XML file but I don’t think I should be playing with the file and risk corrupting the data within it.

I would love some help. The XML file is 1.3MB in size.
