The header of the XML file is appearing after a couple of products are listed and I can’t work out why.

I have two separate feeds, one is fine and this one is the only faulty one. I deleted the plugin and recreated the feeds but the same thing has happened.

Can you possibly shed some light?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Strange, never seen that before.

Assuming you’re working with the latest version, could you open the Feed Manager -> Settings page and press the “Re-initiate plugin” button once and then try again?

    Best regards,

It’s unusual because when the feed is first created, it works fine, but this error seems to occur after the first refresh of the feed.

After hitting the re-initiate plugin button, it has sprung back to an “OK” status and everything is the right way up again.

Would you like me to feed back again should this re-occur?

I do have a habit of finding weird and wonderful ways of breaking plugins!

Yes absolutely @gwall, let us know if it goes wrong again. I will close your topic, but as soon as it comes back or if you find anything else, let us know.

Always interesting to have feed back of users with that kind of habit ??

    Best regards,
    Michel

    Good morning Michel,

The error is back again this morning, I’m sure it’ll be rectified by re-initialising the plugin but I am more than happy for you to have a look if it’s beneficial to your understanding of this problem?

    Good morning @gwall,

Hmm. Could you again check if Re-initiating the plugin solves the problem? That would confirm to me that it has something to do with one of the items that are being reset by this re-initializing process.

I’ve had a go with re-initialising but it’s not worked this time unfortunately.

OK, Could you please check for any error logging on the following places:

    1) On WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs
    2) In the root folder of your server
    3) In the “wp-content” folder on your server
    4) In the “wp-content/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager” folder

If you can not find any error.log file, but do have a development or test server, please switch your test server to the debug mode, perform the action again and check all mentioned four places again for an error log file.

More information about switching to the debug mode can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RWnuHqEC4I

If you find any error logging file, please send it to michel @ wpmarketingrobot . com.

    And besides the previous question,

    – do you have any plugin installed that manages or changes CRON jobs? If so, could you switch that one of for a moment and check if the feed generates correctly after that?
    – could you also open the Feed Manager -> Settings page and switch the “Disable background processing” to on and check again if the feed generates correctly?

    Hi @gwall,

    Any news on this topic?

Could you please reply on my questions in the previous two replies?
