    Hello,

I’ve started this topic this morning. And that issue is solved. However we still want to use the W3 total cache plugin in combination with Yoast because of the performance.

The question is: How can we use W3 total cache in combination with Yoast without messing up our XML page sitemap?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello @rinusvdl

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Check if the option “Cache feeds: site, categories, tags, comments” is enabled in Performance>Page Cache and if so, disable it, save all settings and purge the cache.

    Also try adding the following:

    sitemap(_index)?\.xml(\.gz)?
    [a-z0-9_\-]*sitemap[a-z0-9_\-]*\.(xml|xsl|html)(\.gz)?
    ([a-z0-9_\-]*?)sitemap([a-z0-9_\-]*)?\.xml

to “404 error exception list:” if the option “Do not process 404 errors for static objects with WordPress” enabled in Performance>Browser Cache
If Minify is enabled you should also add this to “Never minify the following pages:” field under Performance > Minify > Advanced (section)
And also, to make sure, add it to Performance>Page Cache>Advanced>”Never cache following pages” field.
Also save all settings and purge the cache.
    I hope this helps!`
