I don’t see anything wrong with the XML file. I even imported it into a demo WP site and it worked ok (it imported some posts and pages, but not media files). I used the normal WP importer…

You should contact your hosting support and ask them, if they can help you out with the import. Maybe your hosting has limited resources or some low PHP settings that are causing this issue.

I have finally submitted a ticket to my hosting company and hopefully this will be remedied soon. It’s one of those frustrating things as I’ve done this before with no issues.
