XML File Location

    Hello,
    I want to ask how can i backup XML file from WordPress Installation. I don’t want to use Tools>Export, but from installation folder and if i want to restore my data, i just need to put that file in specific folder instead of i upload that 1 via Import Tool

  • Your site’s content is stored primarily in your database – not in any files. So there are no files that you can really back up.

    When i bacckup my site with a plugin, like Backwpup, and i include XML to be backup as well. Does it means its full site back up. And in case i loose my data, can i restore my site by putting those backed up files in public_html and database file with same database name again???

    You would need to ask the developer of your chosen backup plugin these questions.
