xls import not working

    WP 4.0, theme 2013, no active Plugins except tablepress.

    Hi,
    In trying to import (upload) a xls file a white screen and/with 2 warnings are displayed:
    Warning: array_pad() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/www/monte-schoen/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/classes/class-import.php on line 428

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/www/monte-schoen/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/classes/class-import.php:428) in /home/www/monte-schoen/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1173

    Any help possible?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This indicates that the imported did not like something in the .xls file, and as the Excel import is still experimental, it reacts with that error message.

    Therefore, I suggest to switch to the CSV format, which is more stable and robust. So, just save your table to a .csv file in Excel and try importing that.
