    my site is html5

actually my validation error message is slightly different:

Line 150, Column 27: Element style is missing required attribute scoped.

    <style type=”text/css”>

    Hi orbitbob,

When you paste in the code from the other thread, please make sure the single quotes are not being converted to curly quotes. The code should add exactly what the html 5 validator is looking for: the scoped attribute.

    Regards,
    Tom.

I even tried manually pasting in the single quotes. What happens is the first slide shows up with my custom css messed up and then none of the other slides show up. The rest of the site validates just fine.

Please could you paste a link to your site?

    Regards,
    Tom.

The site is in development so I do not want to post a public link. Is there any way to send a link privately?

Sure, use the form here: https://metaslider.com/support using WPSupport as your purchase ID. I’ll take a look in the morning.

    Regards,
    Tom.

Just posting this for anyone who has found this thread on Google.

I’ve been working on a plugin to move the Meta Slider link, inline script and style blocks into the <head> of the page:

    https://github.com/tomhemsley/ml-slider-html5

To install, click ‘Download ZIP’, then go to Plugins > Add New > Upload and select the .zip file. So far there isn’t a settings page or anything like that.

If you’re using this plugin, please let me know how it goes! I may integrate the functionality into the Meta Slider plugin if it’s working well

    Regards,
    Tom
