    Hi –
We have been using xcloner for backing up our site and several remote hosted MySQL databases. Recently one of these databases was obsoleted and since then xcloner is generating various errors apparently related to the missing database connection. I am unable to remove those database settings by any means attempted, deleting and reinstalling the plugin (ver 4.0.7) or deleting the wp_xcloner_scheduler database table, and searching for instances of the bad database name in the installation does not find any.
So I am stumped as to where this old setting is coming from and how it can be removed. Recreating the old database is not an option since its parent account is no longer valid.
Here are links to couple screenshots. The first is the response to activating the xcloner plugin, and the second is a shot of the xcloner database setting page. I am logged in as administrator, so the database settings should not be grayed out as they are. The names have been smudged for privacy, but are the old settings before the database was deleted.

  • The xcloner settings are stored in the wp_options table, prefixed with xcloner, do a search for them and delete them all, then try again

Let me know if you still have issues

Thanks so much Liuta! That took care of the problem.
