XCache won't enable caching

    Hi, my website is hosted in a vps, and i have “Opcode:XCache” in the caching mode, if i set this mode website no longer cache the pages, in the php error_log i noticed an error like

    [21-Oct-2014 18:39:18 UTC] PHP Warning: xcache_set(): XCache var cache was not initialized properly. Check php log for actual reason in /home/mywebsite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Cache/Xcache.php on line 55

    is there something i have to do to solve this problem?
