• Hey guys,

So I installed XAMPP a long time ago to put WordPress on it. I’m a beginner theme developer and I created a customized theme on this server.

Somehow, out of nowhere, XAMPP’s apache won’t start up. I’ve tried the cmd -> net stop was /y running on admin permissions to stop any other applications from using port 80. I checked Skype and changed the port number. I’m not sure what the issue is. Here is my error log:

[Tue Jul 01 12:10:20.677728 2014] [ssl:warn] [pid 5436:tid 252] AH01909: https://www.example.com:443:0 server certificate does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

I’m trying to get into my WordPress freelance career but little stuff like this is halting my progress. Anyways, thank you in advance brothers!

  • Hi,

As you know this is a WordPress support forum.

    XAMPP’s apache won’t start up.

    Is an XAMPP/Apache issue.
