X theme with Polylang plugin

Dear all,

I made my website using the gorgeous X theme:

in french as you can see, and translated it to english using the plugin Polylang (v1.9.3)

My settings are shown in these 2 screen shots:

To see the issue just go to
https://www.xavierprudent.com
-> that is ok
then click on the language “US” flag and you are directed to
https://www.xavierprudent.com/en
-> ERROR, page not found

Now look at
https://www.xavierprudent.com/home
-> that is the english version of the homepage, I tried to hack the snippet by replacing the “home” by “en”, but no way, it cannot find the page.

I hope I made my case clear, and will be thankful for any tip of hint.
