x-cart causing wordpress login problems?

  • At the root level of my hosting account I have a directory for my x-cart installation and a second directory for wordpress. For some reason after I log into my admin account in x-cart I am unable to log into my word press dashboard.

    When I attempt to log into wp the login screen simply blinks once and sets still, refusing to move forward to the dashboard. This problem persists whether I am currently logged into x-cart or not. The only way to get into wp seems to be to reboot the machine. Restarting the browser doesn’t work.

    Does anyone know how I can make x-cart and wordpress live together cooperatively?

    Clear cache, use another computer, check your local ISP, etc. as the issue seems to be localized.
