Does TablePress allow WYSIWYG on inserting images while inserting images without having to preview?

If not, is there a plugin that works with TablePress that helps achieve this?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, TablePress does not have such a feature, and unfortunately, I’m not aware of any solution that would allow this. Sorry ??

    Regards,
    Tobias

If you are continuously improving TablePress, can you add such a feature to it?

It is a great plugin and the addition of this WYSIWYG feature may get thousands more to embrace it.

    Hi,

I’d love to add such a WYSIWYG editor, but unfortunately there are technical limitations that have prevented this so far ?? For example, it would be very bad for the performance (on the “Edit” screen) if every cell were such an editor.
I’m however aiming to maybe make the “Advanced Editor” dialog a WYSIWYG editor.

    Regards,
    Tobias

That would be great and would achieve the goal. Great thinking!

NetObjects Fusion – another software – allows such table options with built-in limited practical photo editing as well. Look forward to such update.

Also, consider menu options icons as in some other Editor Menus. Thanks.

I would also suggest adding the options for table format options also like borders, border color, cell spacing, cell padding, etc. since you plan to upgrade Advanced Options.

This would not only reduce time in making web pages but help novices switch to TablePress from other programs that are tedious in other aspects but provide easy and many table formatting and editing options.

    Best,

    Hi,

yeah, making it easier to change the styling of a table is also something that I want to do, but it would have to be a very flexible solution, which makes this tough.

    Regards,
    Tobias
