WYSIWYG editor line breaks and paragraph tags get stripped in front of an image
-
When I have a bit of text and after the text an image on a new line all works fine at first.
Whenever I go back to re-edit that page the paragrapth tag and/or the line break is removed/stripped by WordPress/TinyMCE somehow. Which is really unhandy.I have been trying to find a remedy but found none in the forums. So the question is if anybody knows how to repair or workaround this bug.
Some more details…– Some suggest to insert a break with html. But reverting to html is just as unhandy for most of my editors.
– The weird thing is that all paragraphs and line breaks are fine EXCEPT those preceding an image. Only those are removed.
– This happens on several WP themes with IE9. I also tested with FF11. Also in FF11 the paragraph get’s removed, but NOT the line break inserted with shift-enter.
PS the image is not aligned (nor left, nor right, nor centered)
Ok, any help is much appreciated…. thanks
