WYSIWYG editor is not working… (version 2.0

  • Does anyone know what is the problem? I see lots of similar posts for help, with no answers.

    My fresh installation of WP 2.0 does not work with the tinyMCE “visual editor”. I have confirmed that the “use visual editor” checkbox is checked for all my users.. but when I go to the writing page, it always just displays the old quicktags and NOT the wysiwyg editor.

    Does anyone have any idea what is wrong? How can I get the editor working? I’d be happy to give you ftp access to my site if needed.

  • Ditto! Mine was working just fine until a few days ago, when it suddenly just vanished altogether. I can confirm that it was for a fair length of time working just fine with my install of 2.0. I have no clue what I might have done to knock it down. Like electric above, I have all the proper boxes checked in options and user settings.
