Wysiwyg editor does not make paragraphs

  • We have a strange problem with two of our WordPress blogs. When we write a blog post and place enters you normally get in WordPress paragraphs. When we do it by these two blogs it just makes an enter and does not make a paragraph.

    Because of this images are placed next to the text instead of underneath.

    Does someone know how to get paragraphs in the wysiwyg editor?

  • Are you using the visual editor or the HTML editor?

    There are themes and plugins that can also disable the auto paragraphs. Try one of the standard WordPress themes and see if the issue goes away. Some themes also have an option you can turn on or off to disable auto paragraphs, so check for that. Lastly, try disabling plugins to make sure none of them are responsible.

    Dear Matt,

    Thanks for your reaction. I have changed the theme to twenty fourteen. We also only use plugins we also use in different websites, so really strange.

    Is there a standard setting that could be disabled or something in the code?
