• I’m having a lot of frustration with this editor and I see that others are also. Whenever I want to insert a link into a post and type in <a href=”… it’s publishing <a xhref=”… which does not function.

All I have to do to fix it is to “edit” the post and resave. I don’t actually have to change anything, it saves the links properly as < a href=”… then. Is this a bug? Has this been addressed already? I can’t find it at Trac but I don’t want to put in a ticket if it’s already been addressed.

    I really hate this editor.

  • You can turn the WYSIWYG off in your profile.

I’ve had this problem, too, the only solution seems to be to use the WYSIWYG’s link button instead of typing in the code.

THANK YOU! I hadn’t noticed the option “rich text editor” ?

The link button doesn’t seem to work for me in the wysiwyg editor, but I type code far faster than I click buttons anyway.

Same problem here. Going into the editor’s HTML view mode, then Save (without making any changes), fixes the bug for that post.
