wysiwyg does not work

Since that plugin hasn’t been updated since 2005, it’s a safe bet that it simply will not work with WordPress in 2012…

Also looking at the widgEditor page, it looks like it doesn’t offer anything that isn’t already included in WordPress for many versions.

Well that’s bad news….
So how do we get the font editing we want without having to do full html tag coding?

This is a big issue for clients who just want to be shown how to add some words or change a few font colors themselves! My Drupal buddies can easily give a wysiwyg module to their customers to save everyone time and money – WordPress surely ought to have this?

I’ve not tried it myself as I firmly believe that fonts should be controlled solely by your theme’s CSS… but I think there may be some plugins that can help you out.

I have not yet learned to do child themes. The default CSS is all one bland font with no character, so would have to be child themed. And my clients don’t always want the same font on every page or widget…. so I hope different child themes can be applied to different pages but I doubt if from what I understand….

Give child theme’s a try, it’s really easy to do.
