• Hi,

I have a problem with newest version of this plugin (1.9.1) and wordpress (4.4.2 but 4.0 too).
I want to assign a wysiwyg editor to a custom post type, but there is no option like that.
I created a post field group, added a wysiwyg edditor field into it, saved and created a new custom post type. But, in the area “Post fields to be shown” and the specific custom field group is no wysiwyg editor to check nor checkboxes. A single line appeared, date appered and even a simple checkbox is allright, but when it commes to wysiwyg editor or checkboxes – they are missing, like they do not exist at all.

Could you please look at this problem?

I apologize that my reply comes so late, we have been busy in the paid Support forums.
It’s no excuse, I know, but the truth.

The newest version of this Plugin is 2.0.1
Can you update Types and also WordPress?

To assign Post Field Groups to Post Types you can follow this guide:
    https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/using-custom-fields/
    https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/displaying-wordpress-custom-fields/

The setting “Post fields to be shown” will allow you to display certain fields in the Post List, it is not related to the Single Post Edit interface.

Of course we can not display a WYSIWYG there. Where in the Post List of WordPress would this find place?

But I will request a better wording in that setting, so it’s not confusing or misleading

    Thank you
