    they point to the same place, so look and see whats inside your .htaccess

    if theres nothing in there expressly blocking www. requests, then tell you host you need www. added to the httpd.conf (properly) .. if its a box/virtual machine you have root on, then you need to take some “how to set up apache” lessons ??
