www to non-www redirects to wp-signup.php
-
Hello,
I am not sure if this is a new bug or something overlooked. (EDIT: After looking into it, it looks like as of 4/16/2014 I started receiving reports on this issue. I am wondering if this coincides with WP 3.9)
When I have a website pointed to my server in the DNS, https://www.child-domain.com CNAME is automatically set to non-www child-domain.com.
What I’ve noticed recently is https://www.child-domain.com redirects to https://parent-domain.com/wp-signup.php?new=www.child-domain.com
If you go to https://child-domain.com there’s no issue, just https://www.child-domain.com causes this issue. If I recall, this use to not be an issue?
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I have attempted to force htaccess to redirect www to non-www but I can’t seem to get it to work properly.
Thanks in advanced.
