• I’m having trouble getting multi-site set up just the way I want. I have set up a wordpress network on the root of my domain (myblogs.com) and I have set up a few subsites on site1.myblogs.com and site2.myblogs.com. The issue now is that I want https://www.myblogs.com and myblogs.com to point to the same site, preferably the wwww.

I was going to do with a an rewrite rule, but it causes problems with the network admin which has to be accessed through the root domain.

    Thoughts?

That shouldn’t be a problem. If you set up your site as yourdomain.com (and not https://www.domain….) then that should already be in effect. If not, the .htaccess rewrite should work without hurting anything.

Yeah.. it’s not working. When I set up the base site at mydomain.com.. https://www.mydomain.com gave me a server unavailable. When I manually added a https://www.mydomain.com blog, that worked, but it was different than the my domain.com one.

Is the htaccess file supposed to do this rewrite for me? because I certainly don’t see anything in there about redirecting to www.
