• Just received an update to Wu Wei which was pushed via the Update widget in WordPress. It seems to have broken a fair number of things (alignment of inline images with captions, and the widget bar).

The theme’s home page seems to have stopped putting up changelogs since version 1.2.4 so there’s no information about what the changes are.

Anybody else installed the update and having problems?

My blog URL is https://www.geekreads.com. You’ll see that the images are no longer inline, and the widgets bar, which used to be at the bottom of the page (accessed via an anchor link in the top menu) has also disappeared.

  • I’ve had the same issues as you and without the changelogs, I have no idea what to “fix”.

    I should’ve backed-up everything before I did the update.

Hello there, I’ve updated Wu Wei to take advantage of new features in WordPress 3.0. However, there’s a new theme approval system which is much more stringent than before, and unfortunately I had to change some of the classes used for displaying things like images and captions in order to meet approval.

I’ll release a changelog soon, and also make Wu Wei 1.2.4 available on my website if you’d like to use the previous version instead.
