Suddenly today I can’t log in to edit my website…can’t even pull UP the site as a visitor….because the Recipe Cards plugin is corrupt in some way. Paid $80 to a Fiverr guy to fix it, and now when I try to edit or create a new recipe, I get some format that I’ve never seen and can NOT use. WTH happened folks??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi, @fitat55

Do you have any logs or screenshots that show Recipe Card Blocks is causing the issue? Can you provide more details on this?

Can you also show a screenshot of the “format you’ve never seen”?

Image of a previously published recipe is attached below. The first image is what I now see since you guys changed the plugin and the image below it is what the recipe looks like on my site. As you can see, there is no data in the recipe card in WP so I have no way of editing it. Same with creating a new one – there are no “ingredients” or “instructions” fields, no prep or cook time, no notes, no course, nothing. The plugin is basically useless now, and what really angers me is that I have no way to export them to another plugin. So, I either recreate every. single. one. or I have no new recipes to add to my site ever again.?

The reason I know that your plugin caused my site to crash is because the WP developer that I had to hire and pay $$ to fix it, said that it was your plugin. He deactivated it and then reactivated it, and that fixed the issue with my “critical error” on my website.

Hopefully you are correcting this issue. Can you please let me know that you are, and if so, how long it will be until I can add and edit recipes again? Or if you do not plan to address it because this is only the free version, please let me know that as well so that I can make long-term plans.

    Thank you

@fitat55 it appears that the Classic Editor plugin is installed on your website, while Recipe Card Blocks only works with the block editor. Deactivate the Classic Editor and your posts and recipes should become editable again.

We can’t know what other changes could your developer apply and we need log data to understand if the crash was really caused by Recipe Card Blocks. Usually, when a WordPress websie crashes, you receive an email containing details about the issue. If we have these details, we can further investigate.

Thank you so much for the response. I disabled the Classic editor and that resolved the issue. ??
