WTF?

  • Ok, I bought this plug-in because I thought it would work.

    1. No bots were blocked. Any nonsense crawler could still get to my site
    2. self test with crawler “emulate as google bot” with wrong IP: undetected.
    3. the logfile shows no blocked bots for days
    4. then “Bill” came and disassembled my site with his plugin for WordPress analysis. He told me to lower my RAM to 512 MB. What a nonsense. Where does it say anything about limiting RAM, that no more than 512 MB is allowed for WordPress, for a fullpagecache site on NVME highspeed server.
    5. he then said that my site is not configured properly. Nonsense. WordPress sent me warning after warning that its WordPress plugin for analysis is buggy. GTMETRIX then sent me reports that my A++ performance rating was suddenly D. 6.
    My Server is a Premium Server! At premium Hosting, no cheap 5 Dollar Hosting.
    6. in the backend I could not do anything, the page was then dead. It did not help, I had to import a backup from the day before.

    This plugin is not recommended by me.

    I sent a refund to you same day, before you request.
    Your server has serious problems. Your Mysql stops to works twice. Your server doesn’t reboot a almost 2 years, than is not doing updates. Your WordPress memory limit is too high. If one process fail, it takes too much memory.
    Just to say a couple of that issues.

    Nobody is able to block something to hit your site but we can manage what to show. Some bots hit the site up to 10 times at same time. The plugin blocks the bots and some times, answer with a empty loading page to trick bots, some times answer with 403 (forbidden) page. That means the bots are unable to steal your content and consume bandwidth. But other tool can show answer 200 when in fact the bot visitor got 400.

    As Admin, you can emulate google because the plugin doesn’t block your IP.

    We have more than 10,000 users only in this plugin an more than 30000 in all others with good rating. Can you really think the plugin doesn’t work for all? Just think. More than 60 users left 5 star only for this plugin.
