This plugin throws this error message and causes the site homepage to white screen

Fatal error: ob_start(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/amr-shortcode-any-widget/amr-shortcode-any-widget.php on line 208

Disabling the plugin restores the page as normal.
The plugin has been in use for some time without error.

    Please advise

    Hi googling
“Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers “
Indicates it may be a cache or memory issue on the site. I suggest you explore the various google results on that message and see if any relate to your site.

Note that this is what the plugin does: buffer the output of the widgets (because they echo directly) so that the output can be returned as shortcode result.

Dedicated server with 128Gb of memory which has never been stretched beyond 20% capacity so no issue there.
    Also, no cache issue.

As I alsao noted, disabling this plugin cures the white screen issue

    Have you any other suggestions?

I’m not experiencing the problem on any of my systems and no one has reported it before. It is something unique to your setup. So I googled it further myself, clicking on the links : most other reports don’t have solutions other than maybe 2 plugins doing the same thing (plugin clash).
One said that upgrading their php fixed it.
