WSOD on NEW INSTALL

  • I was using Word Press with no issues what so ever until a few days ago. Suddenly, I can not access the admin page. I have tried everything including wiping and reinstalling the files on my server. I don’t really know much about this sort of thing so I don’t konw what to do next.

    I spent 4 hours on the internet with the customer service people at IX who finally said to ask all of you.

    I get a 404 (not found) error when I go to https://www.thekindafunnyreview.com/, so something’s wrong at the hosting level.

    I also tried to hit “license.txt”, which is a file installed by WP. I suspect that your host is either not pointing your domain to the right set of files or your domain is not pointing to your host.

    Verify with your host that 98.130.112.2 points to their hosting.

    Thank you for answering and yes, I can. I just replaced the whole word press file that way.

    Get backup before remove this.

    Thank you, Steve. I don’t know what that means, but I think that they will. I recently added two new domain names to the shared IP. Would that matter?

    Where do you find this code? Can you please share your screenshot

    I backed up the entire site in a separate folder! I will go on the hunt now!
