wrong usernane/password redirects to wp login page

When a user tries to login and enters the wrong username or password in the nice login widget they are redirected to the wp-login.php login page.

It would be great that when user enters wrong login information they are not redirected to wp login but stays on the current page to re-enter correct username and password. Please let me know if this feature is available.

I did use the Ajax Authentication provided to see if this would work in solving this issue but it did not.

This question was also brought up a couple months earlier and I just wanted to know if this was part of previous updates that is currently in place or if it is still in the works.
