Wrong url to thumbnail in gallery cover

    Hi,
    I have a page where I display an album with 2 galleries and for each gallery there is a thumbnail linking to it.
    My problem is that for one of the gallery the image is shown and not for the other.

    For the one working the link is like that /wp-content/gallery/perth/dynamic/WP_20141024_002.jpg-nggid014-ngg0dyn-91×68-00f0w010c011r110f110r010t010.jpg

    For the broken one the link is like that /nextgen-image/193/91×68/crop/9378e176c6595302ef8f143549a62048

    I have no idea why it’s different as both galleries are configured the same way from what I see.

    The link to the album in the page is like this :
    <img class=”ngg_displayed_gallery mceItem” src=”https://www.oneyearinoz.be/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id–33&#8243; alt=”” />

    Any help would be appreciated…

    @lephasme – Have you tried using the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options and/or clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options Miscellaneous and then using an anonymous browser window to check these albums again?

    I just tried the reset option without any effect on my problem.
    I don’t understand why the link to the thumbnail is different for the second gallery and as the link in incorrect I don’t see why regenerating the thumbnails will change something.
    Just in case, I’m a programmer so don’t hesitate to mention technical terms if you have an idea.

    @lephasme – I’m not sure where you are getting the idea of regenerating thumbnails (although it could be an option to investigate to fix broken thumbnails in general) but that will not make any difference if the preview image is actually linking to the wrong gallery.

    Have you tried recreating the album and re-inserting it? You may also need to review the gallery itself if that is the problem and recreate it as well.

    I recreated the gallery and it looks fine now…
