    thanks for your quick reply! ??

    The correct directory is now written in the URL.
    However, WP Multisite writes even further back in the URLs “sites” and the Id of the instance. Also the part “/wp-content/uploads/” is missing:
    https://www.domain.de/multisite1/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2022/11/image.jpg.

    Those are just the names of the files, they do not need to match the actual file structure. Are the actual images showing on your site?
