After updating to version 2.0.66.33 of NGG, among other methods, the router->get_static_url creates a path which misses the first forward slash. for example some url should be: site.com/wp-content… but ngg creates: site.comwp-content… But when using a wordpress installation in a subdirectory it should be: site.com/new/wp-content but it generates: site.com/newnew/wp-content… I guess some site settings of ngg setting is missing or incorrect but i can’t seem to find it…

If I set it back to version 1.9.3 everything works fine.

@rick1975 – We have found in many cases the issue can also be related directly to the web hosting service and how it implements its directory separator settings … although we have made every effort to resolve these issues there may still be cases where we missed something specific.

Have you looked into this as a server environment issue? If it is not, please send us a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) so we can get a closer look at your site.

Also, have you checked for conflicts with other currently active plugins?

    Thanks!

@rick1975 – I’m not familiar with the “roots” theme but if you think there is a connection have you checked with the theme author to see if they are aware of any particular issues that might be related to what you are seeing?

@rick1975 – To the best of my understanding the latest version of the “Roots” theme works fine with NextGEN Gallery, if you are still having issues please try updating.

    Thanks!
