  • I’m having the same problem. All of my posts have been missed the last three days. In fact, since the upgrade, I noticed none of my posts post on time. WordPress is off by three minutes. I tried to match my scheduled posts by it, but to no avail. I’m so damn frustrated because none of my posts are going as they should. This has never happened before and I can’t keep babysitting my posts to make sure they go when they are supposed to. What is the point in scheduling, if I can’t physically go into WP and change the time to the correct time. Someone please advise what the problem is? I have no clue as to what it might be?

    Hello @kiwes01

What exactly do you mean with “All of my posts have been missed the last three days”?

Since which upgrade? Was it a WordPress upgrade or a upgrade from the Asgaros Forum plugin? From which version did you upgrade?

The forum itself also has no scheduling feature, so I am a little bit confused about what you are talking about. Maybe there is some misconfiguration with your time-zone-settings in your server?

Just what I said, each and every one of my posts say “missed schedule.” I just send an email to the publishers and tours I work with, because as you can imagine, I’m getting hammered with why their things are posting when they’re supposed to, and that’s when I went to check the settings (general) and time zone to see if something is wrong. Sure enough, I have selected New York, but the problem being, the time is four minutes ahead of what my actual computer says. I tried to change the time, but it doesn’t allow you to change it. I noticed other users are experiencing the same thing that I am. I’m so damn pissed because I don’t have time to be watching my posts to make sure the people who use my services, get the work they have been paid for. What is the local time zone four minutes faster than it should be? What’s that about? I’ve never experienced this ever, and now I’m uncomfortable with all the future posts I have scheduled. None of them go now at all. I noticed this when my WP upgraded to 4.7.2. I didn’t have this issue until the latest update. Please advise immediately!

I’m sorry, I have all kinds of errors in my message, but I believe you’ll get the gist of what I mean. I’ve been interrupted so many times while constructing my message to you. Bottom line, none of my posts schedule, unless I go in and click “publish!” I never had to do that before. What’s that about? Why is the time four minutes fast?

To make it clear: Is it a problem with WordPress or a problem with my plugin (Asgaros Forum)? My plugin does not have any scheduling-functionality and also does not produce any text-output like “missed schedule” at all.

WordPress is using the time/date information from your servers machine. When the time is four minutes ahead, then there is definitely a missconfiguration on your server. You should contact your webhoster so they can fix this immediately.

Thank you. I’ll do that! I’ve never heard of your plugin. I was just trying to get to the bottom of this issue. Thanks.
